TNRD issues Evacuation Alert along western boundary of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for the land west from the Kamloops boundary to the existing evacuation alerts and evacuation orders associated with the Tremont Creek wildfire.

The impacted area is in Electoral Area J (Copper Desert Country)

The following 10 addressed properties are impacted:
• 1848 Edith Lake Rd;
• 1645 to 4180 Goose Lake Rd;
• 3561 and 3585 Lac Le Jeune Rd;
• 3350 Timber Lake FSR;
• 4000 and 4050 Trans-Canada Hwy; and
• any other properties located within the map below.

The provincial government has developed guidelines to assist those who are subject to evacuation alerts and evacuation orders.
