Long-term care residents in 100 Mile House temporarily relocating to Williams Lake due to wildfire concerns

100 MILE HOUSE B.C. — Interior Health (IH) is responding to wildfire threats near the community of 100 Mile House.
In response to nearby wildfire activity, IH is relocating Fischer Place and Mill Site Lodge long-term care home residents from the community.
Residents are being temporarily relocated to care homes in Williams Lake and Fraser Health to ensure the safe continuity of their care. IH is contacting families directly with relocation details.
The 100 Mile District General Hospital emergency department currently remains open.
