Churn Creek wildfire leads to Evacuation Alert west of 70 Mile House

KAMLOOPS – The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert due to the Churn Creek Wildfire.

The area affected is in Electoral Area “E” (Bonaparte Plateau). The 5 properties impacted are addressed as:

• 7620, 7624, and 7628 Meadow Lake Rd;
• 7129 and 7140 Empire Valley Rd; and
• any other properties within the boundary noted on the map below.
