TNRD rescinds some evacuation alerts impacted by Lytton Creek Complex wildfire

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) rescinded some of its evacuation alerts Monday (July 26) morning.

The evacuation alerts for the Blue Sky Country electoral area, in the vicinity of Gladwin-Jade Springs and 2256 Trans Canada Hwy., have been rescinded to all clear as the threat of wildfire in the area no longer poses an imminent risk to the safety of residents.

The alerts were previously issued for the following addresses:

• 1144 to 1820 Trans Canada Hwy.
• 2256 Trans Canada Hwy.
• other properties as identified on the attached map
  (Thompson-Nicola Regional District).

Should conditions change, the TNRD said an evacuation alert or order could be reinstated as necessary.
