WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Cool and weather have prompted the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako to lift the evacuation order and alert for the Grizzly Lake wildfire.

The order and alert covered the area south of Eulatazella and the Bobtail Connector FSR and west of the 600 Road FSR, east of Naltesby Lake and the Bobtail FSR, and west to the 800/900 roads. The order and alert were issued earlier this month.

And a big sigh of relief for those living in the Nazko area northwest of Quesnel.

The Cariboo Regional District has lifted the evacuation alert for the Titetown and Nazko North area issued on July 11 and for the alert issued for Titetown and Nazko North area number two issued on July 15. These were issued in part due to the Purdy Lake fire.
