KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: RCMP say a pellet gun was at the heart of a firearm complaint downtown Thursday afternoon.

At about 12:40 p.m., a suspect was seen pulling a firearm out of a backpack and pointing it at another person while in the 400-block of Lansdowne Street.

Officers attended and took one man into custody. Another man was briefly detained at the scene but was released.
