Missing 100 Mile House woman may be travelling to Vancouver Island

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — 100 Mile House RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing person that has not been seen since Sunday (July 11).

Danessa Dunphy was last known to be within the 100 Mile House area. Her mother contacted police after Dunphy’s phone was no longer in service. Police said she had further concern about her well being after not hearing from her, which is unusual.

Danessa Dunphy is described as

  • White female
  • 38 years old
  • approximately 5’7″
  • 145 lbs
  • long blonde dreadlocks

Dunphy was last seen wearing a bikini top and shorts. She also travels with a dog, and may also be travelling with a friend named Maegen.

It’s unknown which direction that Danessa and her friend may be travelling, but it is suspected she may have gone back to Vancouver Island, specifically Nanaimo, where she previously lived.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Danessa is asked to contact their local police detachment, or 100 Mile House RCMP at 250-395-2456 to speak with an officer and refer to file 2021-2759.
