Evacuation order issued for Big Stick area

PRINCE GEORGE — An evacuation order was issued by the Cariboo Regional District for the Big Stick area Saturday (July 10) evening.

The order replaces the Big Stick Area Alert issued on July 3 at 1 p.m.

Due to immediate life danger from the North of Big Stick Lake Wildfire, members of the RCMP or other groups will be expediting this action.

The evacuation route is Highway 20 east to Williams Lake.
