Former Blazers GM Matt Bardsley joining the Philadelphia Flyers.

KAMLOOPS — Former Kamloops Blazers General Manager Matt Bardsley is joining the Philadelphia Flyers as an amateur scout.

Bardsley tells CFJC Today that he will mostly be scouting the Western League.

He resigned from the Blazers in late May, and his last day of work with the team was June 30 for the CHL Import Draft.

Bardsley has re-located his family back to their home in Portland.
