B.C. COVID-19 case count up by 120; 43 more in Interior Health
VICTORIA — B.C. is reporting another 120 cases of COVID-19 Thursday (June 17), with 43 cases — or 36 per cent — being found within Interior Health.
The totals were reported by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry in a briefing.
In total, B.C. has recorded 146,793 cases of the virus since the pandemic began, distributed as follows:
- 35,297 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 13)
- 85,428 — Fraser Health (up by 53)
- 5,145 — Island Health (up by 5)
- 12,945 — Interior Health (up by 43)
- 7,775 — Northern Health (up by 5)
- 203 — Reside outside of Canada (up by 1)
