KAMLOOPS — The right-of-centre People’s Party of Canada has two candidates vying to carry the party’s banner in Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo whenever the next federal election is called.

In a news release, the party says its members will choose between Matthew Robson and Corally Delwo.

Robson describes himself as intent on battling “government-incentivized identity politics, critical race theory and other cult-like communist initiatives” he says are weakening Canadian institutions.

Delwo has organized several anti-lockdown events in Kamloops since the beginning of pandemic restrictions and says she is tired of “watching our country crumble at the hands of the Liberal government”, calling them “freedom haters”.
