Merritt Centennials to begin season at home against pod nemesis Prince George

MERRITT, B.C. — The BCHL has released the regular season schedule for 2021-22.

The Merritt Centennials will begin their campaign at home against their pod nemesis, the Prince George Spruce Kings, on October 8, 2021.

The Cents faced PG 10 times in pod action this year, winning just once. Merritt will see Prince George four times in their first five games of the season.

Merritt will play again the next day, Oct. 9, at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena versus Salmon Arm to conclude the first weekend of the season.

The 2021 season will see the return of the Wenatchee Wild and Langley Rivermen who did not participate in the pod season. The Cents will also face the expansion Cranbrook Bucks for the first time in regular season action.
