Five arrested after gunshots heard at Williams Lake home known for gang activity
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Five people were arrested after a complaint of shots fired at a Williams Lake home Monday (May 31).
In a news release, RCMP say the sound of multiple gunshots was heard by a member of the public at about 6:00 p.m. Monday, coming from a home in the 1900-block of South Lakeside Drive.
RCMP say the home is known to be associated with gang activity.
Officers set up containment of the area around the home and called out its occupants. Four people left the home and were taken into custody. Mounties then entered the home and arrested a fifth person who was inside.
