B.C. records 317 new COVID-19 cases; 60 found in Interior Health
VICTORIA — B.C. recorded 317 new cases of COVID-19 Friday (May 28), including 60 within Interior Health.
The total are contained in an update prepared by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry.
Overall, the province has found 143,581 cases of the virus since the pandemic began, spread out as follows:
- 34,726 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 73)
- 83,686 — Fraser Health (up by 163)
- 5,041 — Island Health (up by 5)
- 12,289 — Interior Health (up by 60)
- 7,641 — Northern Health (up by 16)
- 198 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)
