VIDEO: A Cooney Bay campfire is potentially more dangerous than you might think

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) continues to focus on Cooney Bay as a potential location of dangerous, human-caused fires.

Last week, KFR said it would hand out warnings to those using the beach at Cooney Bay for campfires, which are not permitted within the City of Kamloops.

Now, the department has produced a video showcasing the dangers that wash up at that location every year.
