Pedestrian was killed in Saturday Trans Canada crash: Kamloops RCMP

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have confirmed a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in Kamloops Saturday (May 22) died of his injuries.
The collision took place on the westbound lanes of the Trans Canada Highway below the Hillside Way overpass at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
RCMP Spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn says the male pedestrian died of his injuries shortly after the crash.
The highway was closed for several hours during the on-scene investigation.
