Power knocked out to portion of Upper Sahali

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: B.C. Hydro says power has now been restored.

EARLIER: Hundreds of Upper Sahali residents awoke without electricity this morning.

B.C. Hydro says an outage affecting 648 customers was reported at about 5:39 a.m.

The area of the outage encompasses part of Gleneagles Drive, Robson Drive and a large portion of Summit Drive.

According to B.C. Hydro’s website, crews are on scene investigating the cause. There is no word on when power may be restored.
