Two arrested after large drug bust in Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Williams Lake say an investigation launched last winter has led to a large drug seizure in the Cariboo city.
According to a news release, investigators were began looking into a suspected drug dealer in the winter.
That led to the arrests of two men, ages 42 and 44, last Thursday (May 13). The men were found in possession of significant quantities of suspected cocaine.
Police searched three homes related to the men on Friday. Investigators recovered more drugs, including more than a kilogram of cocaine, more than 4,000 prescription pills, as well as trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, heroin, MDMA, psilocybin, shatter and marijuana.
