KAMLOOPS — Many Kamloops residents dream of travelling once it is safe to do so. For Noreen Rozek, those dreams are closer to becoming reality.

The Kamloops grandmother won $100,000 in the March 27 Lotto 6/49 draw.

Rozek bought her ticket at the Real Canadian Superstore in Sahali and checked her numbers on the B.C. Lottery Corporation website.

“I noticed there was a Guaranteed prize won in Kamloops so I looked down and was shocked and excited,” she said in a BCLC news release. “I walked away to sit and have a cup of coffee before going back to the computer to double check.”
