B.C. COVID-19 case count grows by 494; 33 more cases in Interior Health
VICTORIA — B.C. has recorded 494 new cases of COVID-19 Friday (May 14), including 33 within Interior Health.
The totals are included in an update prepared by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry.
Overall, B.C. has seen 138,304 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began, spread throughout the province thusly:
- 33,787 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 140)
- 80,471 — Fraser Health (up by 288)
- 4,911 — Island Health (up by 8)
- 11,615 — Interior Health (up by 33)
- 7,416 — Northern Health (up by 25)
- 195 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)
