Caravan of Care raises more than $20,000 to help tackle youth homelessness in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Two local charitable organizations will benefit from a grassroots fundraiser held earlier this month.

Organized by Kamloops resident Nathaniel Martin, the Caravan of Care raised $21,125 for the United Way Thompson Nicola Cariboo and A Way Home Kamloops.

The funds, contributed by corporate donors and community members, will go toward initiatives that help young people grappling with housing barriers.

Martin brought a list of donors together to make their donations in a parade held Friday (May 7).

The two organizations thank the following donors:
