KAMLOOPS — Two local charitable organizations will benefit from a grassroots fundraiser held earlier this month.
Organized by Kamloops resident Nathaniel Martin, the Caravan of Care raised $21,125 for the United Way Thompson Nicola Cariboo and A Way Home Kamloops.
The funds, contributed by corporate donors and community members, will go toward initiatives that help young people grappling with housing barriers.
Martin brought a list of donors together to make their donations in a parade held Friday (May 7).
