Modest increase in Kamloops COVID-19 case count last week

KAMLOOPS — Many communities within Interior Health saw waning COVID-19 case count totals last week — but Kamloops was not among them.

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control has released another round of case totals broken down by local health area (LHA).

For the week of April 25 to May 1, the Kamloops area recorded 57 new cases of COVID-19, an increase of 11 from the week prior.
