Kamloops had 46 new COVID-19 cases last week – nearly identical to previous week

KAMLOOPS — The latest breakdown of COVID-19 cases by community shows a steady rate of new cases popping up in Kamloops.

The Local Health Area (LHA) map posted by the B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) shows 46 new cases in the Kamloops area for the week of April 18 to 24. The total for the previous week in Kamloops was 44.

Other LHAs around Kamloops largely saw decreased spread last week, with the exception of Salmon Arm and Armstrong-Spallumcheen.
