Is another Kong movie on the way?

As Godzilla vs. Kong, starring Millie Bobby Brown, performed much better than expected given the COVID circumstances and the original movie King of the Monsters’ lackluster B.O. performance, a threequel is expected with Adam Wingard set to direct again.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the concept being floated is Son of Kong. Godzilla vs. Kong has crossed $400 million globally and is the top-grossing Hollywood-produced movie since the pandemic hit.
