KAMLOOPS — The Rotary Food Drive was another big success on the weekend.
Food Bank officials say the event resulted in 62,000 pounds of food and over $3500 to help the Food Bank survive what is expected to be a busy spring.
Rotarians delivered and picked up the bags.
The Food Drive is a major source of supplies for the Food Bank. It is usually held in the spring and fall. Saturday’s drive was up from the fall of 2020, but down a bit from the spring of last year, which was held before COVID hit its full peak.
