Snowfall warning still in effect for Coquihalla on Saturday

KAMLOOPS — Drivers are encouraged to be prepared on the Coquihalla Highway today.
Environment Canada stated a snowfall warning is still in effect between Hope and Merritt.
A cool and unstable southwest flow combined with ample moisture will continue to give the Coquihalla Summit occasionally heavy snow in the morning, then taper off to flurries later.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow and weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
