Security camera helps Kamloops RCMP arrest alleged truck thief

KAMLOOPS — Mounties in Kamloops arrested a man who was trying to make off with a someone else’s truck. He was spotted climbing into a work truck inside a gated area on a commercial property

RCMP say the incident occurred Wednesday March 31 around 11:20 p.m. A security camera caught the man in the act near the 1200 block of Dalhousie Drive. Police arrived on the scene and arrested the man. Drugs, a BB gun, instruments used to break into vehicles were seized.

The man has been released but has a court date pending.
