Kamloops’ COVID-19 case count rose modestly last week

KAMLOOPS — The latest breakdown of COVID-19 cases by community shows a modest increase in Kamloops, but more concerning numbers in Kelowna and Revelstoke.

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control’s Local Health Area (LHA) map shows 48 cases in the Kamloops area between March 28 and April 3. That’s up from 30 cases the previous week.

The only region around Kamloops seeing the highest rate of spread is Revelstoke, which increased to 25 cases last week.
