RCMP weekend calls included alleged assaults, hatchet seizure, and arrest of wanted man
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP officers responded to 355 calls for service this past weekend. Here are some of the more notable calls.

Police say a 30-year-old Kamloops man was arrested Friday morning (Mar. 26) after a reported assault. Just before 6 a.m that day, the RCMP Detachment was contacted about an alleged assault at a home in the 3000-block of Bank Road.
Officers arrived on scene at the suspect’s home and arrested him without incident. He was released with a court date, pending the investigation’s conclusion.
