Kamloops had 56 new COVID-19 cases last week: BCCDC

KAMLOOPS — The most recent COVID-19 case count data broken down by Local Health Area in B.C. shows a slight increase last week in the Kamloops area.

There were 56 new cases of the virus found in Kamloops between March 14 and March 20. That is up from 42 cases the previous week.

Several regions of the province remain in the “red” range indicating the highest rates of spread, but none are in Interior Health. They include Surrey, Howe Sound, Peace River South, Bella Coola, Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
