RCMP seek witnesses following hit-and-run in downtown Quesnel

QUESNEL, B.C. — A female pedestrian suffered serious injuries after a hit-and-run in downtown Quesnel.

RCMP say it happened Friday morning between 10 and 10:26 a.m. on the corner of Reid Street and St. Laurent Avenue.

Police say the female was struck by a grey truck who did not stop and fled the scene.

“The pedestrian suffered significant injuries that required surgery and hospitalization,” says Quesnel RCMP Sgt. Richard Weseen.
