KAMLOOPS — A wildfire south of Cache Creek is the latest in the Kamloops region.
On Friday (March 19), a wildfire was discovered approximately two kilometres south of Venables Valley Road. As of Sunday (March 21), the fire is two hectares in size and considered out of control.
The new fire comes less than a week after a wildfire emerged in the Strawberry Heights Road area east of Rayleigh.
Elsewhere, the wildfire on Dot Ranch Cut Off Road is still active at 11 hectares but is under control.
