Kamloops back in the yellow range, with 42 COVID-19 cases recorded last week

KAMLOOPS — Recent data from the BC Centre for Disease Control shows a significant drop in COVID-19 cases for the Kamloops area last week.

In the BC CDC’s weekly regional map, it shows 42 cases were recorded in the Kamloops region between March 7 and 13. In the previous update, 100 cases were counted for the Kamloops area.

The greatest spread per capita last week took place in the communities of Surrey, North Vancouver and the regions surrounding Prince Rupert including Bella Coola, and Haida Gwaii.
