KAMLOOPS — One of the three COVID-19 outbreaks in the Kamloops area has been declared over.

According to Interior Health, the outbreak at Highridge Home and Singh House is no longer active.

The outbreak was declared at the Singh Street group home on February 9. It eventually grew to include positive cases in eight staff members and five residents.

There are two more active outbreaks in Kamloops — at Westsyde Care Residence and Gemstone Care Centre — and one in Merritt at The Florentine. All three have remained stable with no new cases for several days.
