JESSE TYLER FERGUSON IS RAISING SON GAY: Appearing virtually on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, the 45-year-old Jesse Tyler Ferguson opened up about his son Beckett Mercer, whom he shares with husband Justin Mikita. Asked by host Ellen DeGeneres if he sings to Beckett, Ferguson confirmed, explaining, “It’s a lot of show tunes because that’s what I like, so we’re raising him gay until he decides he’s straight.”

KATHRYN DENNIS HAS LOST CUSTODY: Kathryn Dennis has custody of her two children with ex Thomas Ravenel, People reports.  Ravenel, 58, has temporarily regained primary custody of daughter Kensie, 6, and son Saint, 4. His attorney told the magazine: “Due to the sensitive nature of the issues involved, all documents in this case have been sealed, meaning the public cannot access them, and neither Mr. Ravenel, Ms. Dennis, nor their respective attorneys are permitted to release them to third parties. As such, and in keeping with the spirit of the protective order, I will not go into detail regarding the circumstances that necessitated the changes to the parties’ custodial arrangement.”

DGA DROPS NOMS: The Directors Guild of America dropped their nominees for their annual Awards show Tuesday, with multiple historic nods. Emerald Fennell (“Promising Young Woman”) and Chloé Zhao (“Nomadland”) became the ninth and tenth women ever to be nominated by DGA. Zhao is the first woman of color to be nominated. The virtual show will be held April 10th.

RUPERT GRINT TALKS HARRY POTTER: Rupert Grint shared insight into his Harry Potter journey, telling Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert Podcast that filming the blockbuster wasn’t always as dreamy as it seemed. He said: “There was a time where it felt quite suffocating. Because it was heavy going, because it was every day for, I think, 10 years in the end. … Sometimes it definitely felt like, ‘I want to do something else. I want to see what else is out there.’” He added: “It never ended. Every year we came back. It was kind of like Groundhog Day. The same sets, the same people.”
