Savona Elementary added to COVID-19 exposure list

SAVONA, B.C. — Savona Elementary School has been added to the Interior Health (IH) COVID-19 exposure list.

It becomes the ninth Kamloops-Thompson School District school on the list as of Thursday morning (Mar. 4).

IH says the exposure at Savona Elementary took place on Monday (Mar. 1).

School and health officials will get a hold of those who have been in direct contact with the COVID-19-positive individual or individuals.

All who are not contacted are urged to attend school as normal.
