Sundhu to seek federal NDP nomination in Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo
KAMLOOPS — A familiar face will seek the NDP nomination in the next federal election campaign.
Bill Sundhu is a lawyer and former provincial judge. He has also served as the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding association president and was the party’s candidate in the riding in 2015, finishing second to Conservative incumbent Cathy McLeod.
In a news release, Sundhu says Canada is at a “historic crossroads” on several fronts, which is what prompted him to run for the nomination.
