Two Kamloops schools, one Merritt school added to COVID-19 exposure list

KAMLOOPS — Two more Kamloops schools have been added to the Interior Health (IH) COVID-19 exposure list.

IH says Beattie Elementary had an exposure on Wednesday and Thursday of last week (Feb. 17 and 18).

An exposure at NorKam Secondary was registered on Thursday and Friday last week (Feb. 18 and 19).

Outside of Kamloops, an exposure was found at Collettville Elementary School in Merritt last Thursday (Feb. 18).

Any people who came in contact with the COVID-19-positive individuals will be sought out by school and IH officials. Those who are not contacted are urged to attend school as usual.
