KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have an ongoing investigation after a report of shots fired led to the discovery of a damaged vehicle in Rayleigh.
On Thursday (Feb. 18) at around 1:00 a.m., frontline officers were called to the 300-block of Chetwynd Drive after two men were reported getting out of a small grey sedan and approaching a residential address.
A gunshot was heard before they ran back to their car and sped away.
Police located a white vehicle that had been shot in the windshield in the driveway. Officers spoke with the car’s owner, canvassed the area and viewed surveillance footage.
