KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops secondary school has found its seventh COVID-19 exposure in the past month.
Parents of Sa-Hali Secondary students were informed of an exposure that occurred on Tuesday (Feb. 16) in an email sent Wednesday evening.
Principal Rachael Sdoutz says the individual who tested positive for COVID-19 is now isolating at home, a deep-cleaning of the school is underway and those who may have been exposed will be contacted and told to self-isolate.
The first exposure at Sa-Hali this year occurred on January 18. Since then, the school has seen an additional six separate exposures. At one point, school officials said nearly 250 students were isolating due to exposures.
