City of Kamloops seeking public input in downtown and North Shore parking plan
KAMLOOPS — After the project was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Kamloops has launched public engagement for its Parking Management Plan (PMP).
The PMP will identify current parking conditions while addressing on- and off-street parking challenges in the downtown and Tranquille business corridors. Data collection resumed in the fall.
The PMP is part of the Downtown Transportation Choices Strategy brought to council in 2019. The completed plan will be presented to council in the summer for adoption.
Surveys for the downtown and North Shore study areas will be open for input until March 14.
