Three arrested following early morning robbery in North Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — A report of a robbery involving a suspected firearm led to a large police presence in the Ord Road area earlier Monday morning (Feb. 8).

Kamloops RCMP responded to a report early on Monday involving a man who had been robbed of a bike by someone with what appeared to be a firearm. The suspect’s vehicle was located nearby and several people were arrested. An airsoft pistol and a quantity of drugs were seized by police during the investigation.

The victim and suspect are known to each other and there is no risk to the general public. The suspect and the other two who were arrested remain in custody as part of the investigation.
