KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue crews quickly extinguished a bus fire on the reserve early this morning (Jan. 31).
Platoon Captain Wade Lindoff says just before 5 a.m Sunday morning crews were called to a motor vehicle fire on Tk’emlups band land near the Halston Connector.
“When they arrived on scene they found a fully involved bus that had been converted into an RV,” Lindoff says, “Crews extinguished the blaze, they did a search of it and they found no occupants.”
Lindoff says Tk’emlups security was notified, and they’re on scene today for an investigation.
