Preliminary inquiry begins for man accused in pregnant girlfriend’s 2000 murder

KAMLOOPS — A preliminary inquiry began in the Kamloops Law Courts this week for a man accused of murdering his pregnant girlfriend two decades ago.

Trent Larsen was arrested in September, 2019 and charged in the 2000 murder of 27-year-old Angel Fehr. The couple lived in Kamloops at the time.

Fehr disappeared after attending an Easter gathering with family in April of 2000. She was reported missing two months later.

Larsen was arrested 19 years later while living in Chasm.
