Five-hundred new COVID-19 cases in B.C., including 91 within Interior Health
VICTORIA — B.C. has recorded an even 500 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday (Jan. 20), including 91 within Interior Health.
The figures are contained in a prepared statement by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry.
The 500 new cases bring the B.C. total to 62,412, spread throughout the province as follows:
- 14,217 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 125)
- 38,384 — Fraser Health (up by 216)
- 1,338 — Island Health (up by 32)
- 5,465 — Interior Health (up by 91)
- 2,978 — Northern Health (up by 35)
- 135 — Reside outside of Canada (up by 1)
