RCMP seek tips on armed robbery of Kamloops store

KAMLOOPS — RCMP in Kamloops hope you can help identify a robbery suspect.

At about 8:12 p.m. last Thursday (Jan. 7), officers were called to the report of a theft taking place at a business in the 1000-block of Hillside Drive.

Witnesses reported a man leaving the store through an emergency exit with merchandise from the store. When staff tried to stop him, he showed them what appeared to be a firearm.

Responding officers did not succeed in detaining the suspect.
