Man arrested in Kamloops, wanted for crimes in Salmon Arm including attempted murder
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP members arrested a man wanted on an attempted murder charge Monday morning (Jan. 11) in the city’s downtown.
Forty-year-old Terrance Jones is wanted for seven offences stemming from an incident in the Shuswap last summer. He was one of three men accused in a stabbing on Blind Bay August 17.
Jones is wanted for attempted murder, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon and using a firearm in committing an offence.
In September, Jones turned himself in to Salmon Arm RCMP. The circumstances of him being wanted and at large again are not known.
