RCMP seek suspect in Sahali bear spray robbery

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for tips after a robbery at a Sahali store Tuesday evening (Jan. 5).
According to a release, a man walked into a store in the 500-block of Notre Dame Drive at about 6:36 p.m. that day.
The man looked around the store for a while before trying to leave the store with unpaid merchandise. When an employee tried to stop him, he sprayed the employee with bear spray.
RCMP say the man fled through the back door of the store, through a parking lot along Summit Drive and into a waiting grey SUV before driving away.
