The trailer for Ariana Grande’s Netflix special dropped on Thursday (December 10th) and it shows the excitement of her Sweetener tour, both on-stage and off.
In addition to concert footage, excuse me, i love you, shows the singer’s backstage drama. At one point during the one-minute clip, the “Positions” singer breaks down in tears while talking to her team.
She can be heard saying, “You know it’s been hard, physically and mentally, but this show, for sure, saved my life this year. I just inhaled a tear!”
The tour took place in 2019, following a tumultuous couple of years for the pop star. In May of 2017, Grande’s Dangerous Woman show at the Manchester Arena was bombed in a terrorist attack. The following year, ex-boyfriend and friend Mac Miller died of a drug overdose.
