SALMON ARM — RCMP in Sicamous and Salmon Arm have recovered stolen Christmas decorations from multiple homes that ended up in a single display.

Sometime overnight on Dec. 5, large inflatable Christmas decorations had been stolen from yards in Sicamous and Salmon Arm.

After reading about the missing items on social media, a citizen discovered the stolen items had shown up in a holiday display at a home in southeast Salmon Arm and alerted RCMP.

Officers went to the home, finding what were believed to be the stolen items. When questioned, the resident claimed they had recently purchased the items from someone and did not know they were stolen.
